About the procedure

Microblading is categorized under Permanent Make Up (PMU), but unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing, it is less invasive and not as deep in the skin.

The procedure is done by using a hand tool with ultra fine needles and each 'hair' is gently etched into the skin, giving an incredibly natural and realistic look. We start off by designing a brow for you according to your facial measurements, amount of natural brow hairs, age and use callipers with string mapping for a symmetrical design.

With each client a brand new, sterile microblade is used and disposed after. The microblade is dipped into a selected color of pigment and then used to make a fine cut, or microstroke, in the skin. This process results in the pigment being implanted into the skin, which is known as micropigmentation. During Powder Brows a PMU machine is used to create soft pixels that will heal into a beautiful filled in brow that looks like softly applied brow pencil. With the proper technique, microbladed eyebrow results look beautiful and completely natural. We can dramatically correct or fully reconstruct lost eyebrows and it is excellent for those wanting to enhance their brows or who have little to no eyebrows, thinning brows from age or over tweezed brows. Pigments used are chosen to match the natural or desired brow colour and your skin tone will also be taken into consideration. We use a topical anesthetic before we start the procedure and also during the procedure.

The type of pigment used for microblading is specifically formulated for the procedure and is not like traditional tattoo pigments, to prevent them healing ashy or gray over time. The techniques and pigments from 2015 onwards has advanced tremendously, so make sure your technician has updated training and use good quality PMU Pigments. Look for close up, unfiltered photos where you can see details. Brows should be shaped correctly and designed with precision, most importantly look for healed work on the artists portfolio after weeks/months. There is a big difference between freshly done brows and what they look like healed after 3-24 months.

Eyebrows are sisters, not twins :)

We will not perform Microblading on individuals younger than 19 years old.
